Description: The Adirondacks Speculator Region Chamber of Commerce is a vital group working to support a healthy and sound economy for the region. The Chamber advocates, promotes, and improves the quality of life in our communities. It fosters the development of healthy businesses and institutions through direct services, networking, and outreach. The Chamber also operates the Town of Lake Pleasant Information Office.

Description: The Hamilton County Amateur Radio Club was organized in May of 2002 to support the local repeater, provide emergency and public service communications, generate interest in amateur radio, and afford amateur radio operators and those interested in HAM radio as a hobby an opportunity to meet socially. There is a club repeater atop Oak Mountain, which allows amateur radio communications on the 2 meter amateur radio band. Communication is possible as far south as Northville and into Indian Lake to the north. Also, the club has a high frequency station at Lake Pleasant Fire Hall for long distance communications. Meetings are third Mondays starting at 7 p.m. at the fire hall. Hams and non-hams alike are welcome. Mountain Arts Consortium
Description: An excellent local theater group specializing in Broadway productions. Productions have included L. Frank Baum’s “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Sound of Music,” “The King and I,” “The Music Man” (right), “Anne of Green Gables” and more.
Pleasant Riders Snowmobile Club
Description: Pleasant Riders Snowmobile Club is based in the Hamilton County Town of Lake Pleasant, in the heart of Hamilton County’s more than 750 miles of groomed trails. New York State corridor trails No. 4 and No. 8 pass directly through the community, offering easy access to Oxbow Lake, Arrietta and Piseco to the west, Indian Lake to the north, Wells to the South and Warren County to the east.
Meets second Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the clubhouse on Rt. 8 in Piseco.
